William Allan "Bill" Rayson II, 88, died on Monday, December 7, 2009. Born August 9, 1921 in Tulsa, OK the son of J. Carroll and Nell Marie (Wells) Rayson. Mr. Rayson grew up in Tulsa graduating from Tulsa Central High School in 1939. He attended Tulsa University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He served his country during World War II from 1943 until 1946 in the U.S. Army. He married Doris "Dee Dee" Deeley on July 16, 1948 and she preceded him in death on November 22, 1975. He followed his father and grandfather in the retail credit reporting business and succeeded his father as manager of the Credit Bureau of Tulsa in 1951 where he retired as President and C.E.O. in 1991. During his career he served as President of Credit Counseling Centers of Oklahoma, President of the Associated Credit Bureaus of Oklahoma, President of the Associated Credit Bureaus of the Midwest, Director of the Tulsa Men's Club, Director of the Tulsa Credit Association, and was a Director of the Associated Credit Bureaus of America where he served as Chairman of the Rules Committee. He was also a 50 year member of the Rotary Club of Tulsa. Bill was a talented pianist and entertained friends and family at his home and wherever a piano was present. Among his many interests were fine wine, chocolate and OU football. Survivors: Daughter: Jeanne M. Glass of Tulsa; sons: William A. Rayson III of Euless, TX and Rick W. Rayson and his wife Vickie of Irvine, CA; Grandchildren: Allan Rayson and his wife Jennifer of Allen, TX and Jodee Glass of Lyons, CO; Great Grandchildren: Will, Alex and Sam Rayson of Allen, TX. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11th in the Ninde Brookside Chapel. The family requests that memorials be made to the Tulsa Rotary Commu nity Fund, care of the Rotary Club of Tulsa, 616 S. Boston, Suite 410, Tulsa, OK 74119 or the charity of one's choice.
