Obituary of Margaret Gallimore

Margaret Kirk (Keller) Gallimore, 85, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Margaret was born to William Irwin and Daisy Lulu (Cauthorn) Keller on June 26, 1924 in Nowata, Oklahoma. She married John Wallace Gallimore, Jr. on June 26, 1948 in Tulsa where they made their home. Margaret is remembered by John, her husband of 61 years; daughter, Terry Richards and her husband John of Bristow, OK; daughter, Nancy Gallimore Werhane and her companion, Jim Thomason of Mounds, OK; her grandchildren, Katie McCullough and her husband Brandon, Jeff Anderson and his wife Allison, Erin Tindell and her husband Eric, and Laurie Richards; her great grandchildren Ben and Elizabeth McCullough. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, William Keller and John Keller; her sister, Martha Lou Malloy and her oldest daughter, Cindy Anderson. An amazing wife, mother and "Gram," she loved caring for her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Margaret also had many special friends who were a treasured part of her life. For many years she was an active volunteer with the Assistance League of Tulsa, Saint Frances Hospital and The T.U. Golden Hurricane Club. An avid reader, she also enjoyed attending the opera, visits to the museum, traveling and especially cherished spending time on the beach. Well-loved by all who knew her, Margaret leaves nothing but fond, happy memories. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 12th in the Christ United Methodist Church with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Simeon's Memory Center, 3701 N.
