Zelda Thompson, 86, born to Neta and Calvin Hagar on April 22, 1923. Homemaker, owner of Weber Root Beer stand, worked for Zebco and finished working at 70 with many years at Oklahoma Special Olympics.
Zelda had four children, Kirk Thompson, Terry Kerr, Vicki Grace and husband David, and Fredrick James Thompson and his wife Peggy. She was always good buddies with her former son-in law Don Kerr. She loved her seven grandchildren, Mandy Wagstaff and her husband Robin, Missy Smith and her husband Seth, David Thompson and his wife Tracy, Jessica Thompson, Sean Thompson, Ben Kerr and his wife Heather and Josh Kerr. Zelda's special pride were her 10 great-grandchildren, Finnegan Thompson, Ashton Kerr, Bryson Thompson, Taggart Thompson, Brindley Thompson, Alexander Wagstaff, Ryker Smith, Adam Bennett Kerr, Lily Grace Wagstaff, and soon to be a little Sadie Smith.
Zelda loved her Red Hats group, gardening every year for flowers and tomatoes, and her special friends Leslie and Terry Fisher. Zelda was a feisty grandma who passed it on to all her family and friends.
Family visitation 4:00-6:00 pm Tuesday and a Funeral Service 11:00 am Wednesday, both at the Ninde Woodland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Carney Cemetery, Carney, Oklahoma.
