My mother called to tell me about Bob, after seeing the obituary in the Tulsa World. We are in Georgia for a week with my sister, who also remembers Bob very fondly. We were surprised, but know he lived a good life and made the valiant struggle to continue his life for himself and those he loved (who are many). Bob and I go way back to Swingles Class at Boston Avenue UMC. He was a great friend to me and all those whom he knew. My only regret is that after we left BA for Asbury, we did not keep in close contact. Bob was an amazing person intellectually and, most important, spiritually. His faith and determination have been an inspiration to me for 30 years. Our families have touched each other in many ways over the years: Daniel being friends with Jennifer and Kara being in AP Art History with a most marvelous instructor Janet. I am sorry that we will not be able to join, what I am sure will be huge numbers, on Friday for Bob's farewell. We love you and will do anything for you at any time, Janet. Much love, Kathy Bunting
