Mrs. Carson was born on September 26, 1920 in Jasper County, Missouri to Albert Andrew and Maud Elvira (Jones) Barrett. She passed away on May 17, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma
She is survived by her son and his wife Merrill and Linda Carson of Jennings, Oklahoma. Her 4 grandchildren, Sheila Jewell Jones of Tulsa, Sheryl Lee Sanders of Tulsa, Michelle Marie Miller of Tulsa and Michael Lance Sandowski of New York City, 13 great gandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1992, a brother, Joseph Leroy Alexander, her two sisters, Alberta Beryl Moorehead and Josie Ina Rust
