Obituary of Kerri Duffy

Kerri Maureen Duffy left this world on Sunday, June 21, 2009 after an extended battle with diabetes and complications thereof. Kerri was born on December 29, 1970 in Vineland, NJ to Patrick and Martha Duffy. Kerri graduated from Jenks High School and received two bachelor's degrees from Oklahoma State University, one in art history, the other in graphic design. She worked for a number of corporations in Tulsa, including Brothers and Company, PennWell Publishing and Winnercomm. Kerri had a contagious laugh, a radiant smile, and an enthusiastic spirit that would light up a room. She loved to entertain through elegant dinner parties for her family and friends. Kerri was a warm hug, an endearing card that you didn't expect, and the kind of friend you wish you could be. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Kerri was preceded in death by her father, Patrick. She is survived by her mother, Martha, of the home; a sister, Erin Duffy, of Edmond, OK; two brothers, Greg Duffy and his wife, Jana, of Tulsa; and Richard Duffy, of College Park, MD. She also leaves her dogs, Price and Jack and her numerous close friends. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Ninde Woodland Chapel, 5757 South Memorial.
