Obituary of Beatrice Garrison

Beatrice Elizabeth (Kopp) Garrison, 93, died at her home in Hulbert, Oklahoma on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Mrs. Garrison was born November 15, 1915 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of the late William and Louanie (Johnson) Kopp. During World War II she worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft. Her sons as well as a number of her grandsons and granddaughters have served our country in the Armed Forces. Later she worked as a seamstress for Herrington's and Beshara's Clothing stores. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon Grant; her daughter-in-law, Leta Juanita Kirkpatrick; her grandaughter-in-law, Janna Kirkpatrick; her great granddaughter, Jamie Lee Keener; her brothers Roy E. Kopp, Hiram Hurd and Otto Kopp. Mrs. Garrison is survived by her sons: Jimmie Dean Kirkpatrick and his wife Cindy of Hulbert, OK and Pat Watson Kirkpatrick of Tulsa; her Grandchildren: Mike Kirkpatrick, Leta Keener and her Husband: Johnnie, Dean Kirkpatrick and his wife: Tomi, Richard Kirkpatrick and his wife: Leslie, Ben Kirkpatrick and his wife: Tina; Her Great Grandchildren: Stephanie Keener, Amanda Keener, Kyle Kirkpatrick and his wife: Autumn; Rachel Westmoreland, Kari Fine and her husband: Derek; Chadd Keener, Lacey Bangle and her husband: Josh; Whitney Kirkpatrick and Lynn Trammel, Teri Keener, Whitley Kirkpatrick, Eric Kirkpatrick, Trent Kirkpatrick and Mitchel Kirkpatrick. Great Great grandchildren: Amaris Keener, Alex Westmoreland, Ben Kirkpatrick, Khayden Kirkpatrick, Kurt Trammel and Daniel Fine. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 5th in the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. D.J. McCarter and the Rev. T.J. Tipton will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Kirkpatrick, Dean Kirkpatrick, Richard Kirkpatrick, Ben Kirkpatrick, Kyle Kirkpatrick, Chadd Keener, Eric Kirkpatrick and Trent Kirkpatrick.
