Obituary of Robert Lee Dodson

Robert Lee “Bob” Dodson was born April 12, 1953 in Tulsa, the first child of Richard Lee and Nancy Jane (Christopher) Dodson.  He passed from this life Sunday, December 24, 2017, Christmas Eve at home.  He attended Barnard Elementary School, Wright Junior High and was a 1972 graduate of Tulsa Central High School.  Bob attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a degree in finance in 1976 and received his Masters of Business Administration in 1978.  He worked in finance and accounting on both the east and west coasts, and especially enjoyed living in California.

Bob is survived by his brother, Rick Dodson; his sisters, Nancy Dodson Geiser and Carolyn Dodson Ferguson.  Bob was an uncle to Will Dodson, Sarah Dodson Shultz, Hannah Geiser, Kelly Geiser and Kit Ferguson.  Although Bob was plague by medical difficulties throughout most of his adult life, his family would tell you he persevered through it all and was the nicest guy.  A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at St. John's Episcopal Church.
