Terpening, Avonna Lee, 54, went to be with Jesus Saturday, October 13, 2007. She is survived by: father and mother Don and Margaret (Sponsler) Smith; daughters and son-in-law, Aimee Terpening, Lynelle and Michael Nelson; granddaughter, Abigail Nelson, all of Tulsa, OK; brothers, Don Smith, of St. Petersburg, FL and D.J. Smith, of Highlands Ranch, Denver, CO and sister, Cherri Harris, of Tulsa, OK and several nieces and nephews. Avonna fought a good fight of faith and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Service 10 A.M. Friday Open Bible Fellowship, 1439 E. 71st St. Tulsa, OK, interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Open Bible Standard Churches Attn: Missions Dept. 2020 Bell Avenue, DesMoines, IA. 50315. Donations will go to Centro Cristiano Nueva Vida, Barcelona, Spain. Ninde Brookside Chapel 918-742-5556.
