Obituary of Skip Ashley

Dennis “Skip” Ashley was born May 23, 1948, in Clearwater, FL to Dennis & Emma Ashley and passed from this life on June 19, 2025, at the age of 77.

 

Skip lived a rich and large life.  A Vietnam veteran, he was a cowboy outfitter in Lander, Wyoming.  He was covered by National Geographic and led expeditions in the Big Sky Country.  He fell in love with Drew Ellen Marquis and made her his own.  They were married for many years.  Drew says, “Skip was so much more than words can express.  Everyone he touched was blessed.  He always had a ready joke and a smile on his face.  Till we meet again in heaven.”

 

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 4818 E. 9th Street, Tulsa, OK 74112.
