Obituary of Jack Neerman

Jack was born October 2nd, 2007, in Knoxville Tennessee, at Parkwest Hospital to John Joseph and Zoe M. (Wassom) Neerman. When he was 9, Jack gave his heart to and made Jesus the Lord of his life. Jack moved from this life into his eternal home with his Savior and heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025.

 

Jack lives on through the lives and memories of both parents, JJ & Zoe, his two brothers, John Jarrod and Joshua Caleb, his sister, Josilyn Zoe-Kate, along with his Nana, Sharan Ann Neerman, his Aunt Bridget Neerman, his Uncle Charlie “Chuck” Neerman, Chuck’s wife (Aunt) Amy, sons (cousins) Chad & Joel and daughters (cousins) Gwynn, Leah & Delilah, along with his extended family, his classmates, teammates, and friends.

 

Jack played Football in Bixby from 1st grade through his freshman year, ran Track his Freshman and Sophomore years, and e-Sports his Sophomore and Junior years. He was introduced to his true sports passion, Rugby, by his older brothers and Jack started playing in 8th grade and fell in love with it! As a part of the Bixby Rugby Club, Jack is a two-time State Champion. Academically Jack was a good student and actively involved in Leadership at Bixby High School.

 

Jack never meets a stranger and has a big personality who intensely cares for people, moving with compassion and bringing joy, smiles and laughter to everyone he encounters. He is goofy and silly and creatively witty and happily accepts the challenge to brighten your day.

 

Please join us to celebrate Jackson and honor his life Thursday evening, March 6th, 2025, at 6:30-PM at New Beginnings Church, 4104 E 151st S, Bixby, OK 74008. Jack’s Life Celebration begins at 6:30-PM with a Reception following.
